Luxembourg’s Sam Skilz flexes his awesome dark side on his smouldering new single ‘Rise'. Delivering a steamy, tension-filled proggy house romp, ‘Rise’ is pumped with cinematic synths, menacing hooks and atmospheric stabs, underpinned by a moody bass throb that gives way to an attention-grabbing breakdown.
“I feel this track is a mix of what’s currently going on in the Progressive House scene, where things are getting back to arpeggios, sequencer synths and heavy basslines with lots of attention to detail and plenty of tension. I was projecting myself into the upcoming summer festivals while I was working on this track. I tried to visualise the outcome from the breakdown on the dance floor and actually I have managed to feel the vibe, so I hope you enjoy it!” – Sam Skilz
